Will I-Wont I?

Nobody wants to think about dying, why would you, its morbid. But sadly we will all die at some point in our lives and it’s usually those we love that are left to pick up the pieces and sort things out after this happens.

Losing a loved one is a stressful time and emotions will be running high, so the last thing families will want to be doing is arguing over who gets what, which is why making a will is something everyone should do.  A will is your way of guaranteeing your wishes are followed and the things you own are given to those who you wanted to receive them.

Someone who dies without making a will is called ‘intestate’. When this happens your wishes cannot be followed and possessions, money and property are shared out according to the law. This may mean things are passed on to people you hadn’t intended giving them to. If you have a partner but are not married they usually get nothing. And if you have children aged under 18 it will be up to the courts to decide who acts as their guardians which means you need to write a will and ensure your wishes are taken care of.

At Aspire we work very closely with Legacy Wills and Estate Planning who can produce a Will document for you quickly and at a price you can easily afford.
